My New Position!

MY NEW POSITION

LOCATION!

BECAUSE OF BACK PAIN!

Which seems to be the theme for many of us this week!

I am bad at this position, really really bad! I'm not fond of the location either, especially since in this position I'm forced to take note of some very neglected cobwebs that seem to be taunting and laughing at me!! As if I don't have enough to do or plenty of things taunting me already!

It all started during the Academy Awards. Remember when I said that Macey did not like her meds and all the different ways that I attempted to get them into her? Well eventually it came down to brute force..... She was the brute I was the force!! Not only did I have to wrestle with her dead weight and slapping hands but sometimes I had to chaise her down and carry her back dead weight and all! She also needed quite a bit of cuddling so she was in my arms A LOT!! At times I am sure it was a love hate relationship but after the tears and drama I would give her a smile and tell her "Its a good thing your cute!"

I can't blame Macey entirely for my new position. I am sure most people who had a very tight back that felt as if one wrong move would take it out completely would take it easy for a couple of days ..... Right? WRONG!!

I reorganized the girls bathroom, started in on some closets, changed some furniture in the den, rearranged Carley's bedroom and put the canopy on her bed, started working on Macey's room then after hanging some curtains I stepped off the ladder and it felt as if my back had separated. The pain brought instant tears to my eyes and that is when I decided I should take it easy. That lasted for A DAY, yes I am a slow learner or very defiant and stubborn (it is a toss up)

But I should have listened to my back cause now I can't do anything! Even walking is difficult let alone taking care of two very active girls who want to do EVERYTHING but BE STILL!

I'm not sure what bothers me most the pain or the fact that I WANT TO FINISH MY "TO DO LIST" After all School is right around the corner and I have so much I want to get done! Not to mention we have to move Rachel into college in about a 10 days!! :-(

If only this position came with strong backed, able bodied people then I could just dictate my "To Do List!" in which they would complete with perfection! (A girl can dream can't she?)

The good news is Macey is fully recovered and is now eating gold fish, which is the only thing she wanted the entire time she was recovering but not really!

Oh ouch. I hope you are feeling better by now! I am improving, but sitting in one place (like, say, in a car on a 4 hours car trip) makes it worse. And probably riding on the zip line wasn't a good idea. But I'm much better than I was when I left.

Aleve aleve aleve. or something stronger.

It might have been had I rested it for only a day! Cause I then decided to climb to the top of the garage to get some stuff down. When all of a sudden one wrong move and my back protested LOUDLY and down I went with one foot on top ledge in the garage and the other on top of the ladder(yes the part your not suppose to stand on. I dont think there is a portion of my body that isn't sporting a very mean, extremely nasty and ugly bruise or two!! So one ER visit and 3 bottles of pills later...... I think Lucy has figured out the limits!! Maybe?
